23 Apr There Once Was A Girl From Sweden
There is a long list of Swedish women whom have fascinated the World with their poise, bearing and voice. For example there have been; opera singer Jenny Lind, actresses; Harriet Bosse, Greta Garbo and Ingrid Berman to name a few.
Environmental activist Greta Thunberg has joined the list of Swedish women; she is unlike any that have preceded her. Born in Stockholm, January 2003, from her and her family recollections, she was, ‘different.’ She learned about Climate Change – Global Warming at the age of eight and asked herself why little, if anything, human –wise was being done to counter this. She became obsessed with the subject to the extent that she ceased to be interested in anything else. She became anorexic and went into a silent mode. Her parents submitted her to a psychiatric evaluation; she was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome. The word, “Asperger,” comes from the Latin which means, “sprinkle.” The diagnosis continued with obsessive compulsive disorder and selective mutism. – The book, “Scenes From the Heart,” published in 2018, recounts Greta’s (and her parents) environmental involvement.
Greta’ younger sister, Beata, also has mental issues; she is afflicted with, “attention deficit hyperactivity.”
Could it be that Greta and Beata have developed these mental disorders as a reaction to their parents; opera-operetta vocalist (mezzo-soprano) Malena Ernman and their father (professional actor) Svante Thunberg and grandfather (actor and director) Olof Thunberg? These high powered professions offer little time for children. Their neglect could have resulted with Greta’s obsession with Climate Change – Global Warming. Taking a cue from her parents and paternal grandfather, she too became a performer; the Climate Change- Global Warming the stage.
With her non-descript school girl looks and simple attire, limited vocabulary and north Teutonic accent; this teenage enthralls. She is a stark contrast to earlier Swedish women. Despite her limitations, she has out-performed her predecessors and contemporaries including her grandfather, parents and United States Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.
Her lilted accented voice attracts the listener similar how Garbo and Berman had done decades earlier. It matters little what she says, she mesmerizes though what she says – in part – is questionable.
Like Cortez, Thunberg claims that Climate Change – Global Warming is – for the most part – caused human activity known as the, “Green House Effect;” the emissions of carbon monoxide and dioxide into the atmosphere. Greta convinced her mother to forgo her professional vocal career because air travel is conducive to the, “Green House Effect.” Greta also convinced her family to abstain from meat as its production is also conducive to the, “Green House Effect.”
Like Cortez, Thunberg fails to mention that there are non-human factors that could contribute to Climate Change- Global Warming. During the last 120 years, there have been more than 90 substantial volcanic eruptions that have thrown into the atmosphere volcanos (ejecta) far more toxic pollutants than all human activity has during the last three hundred years. For instance, when Mount Kilauea erupted, May – August, 2018, the estimated daily toxic ejecta was 12,000 tons.
Like Cortez, Thunberg does not mention (or does not know) that both terrestrial and non-terrestrial plants consume carbon monoxide and dioxide and releases oxygen. – Due to Global Warming, trees and other plants are known to grow much quicker than previous decades.
Then there is the Sun itself which is known to increase and decrease its energy without notice. For example this occurred on April 1, 1983 and April 6, 2012. – Every year since 1982-83 there has been spectacular solar flares. – Magnetic north is on the move from the Arctic Ocean to Siberia. – These non-human occurrences are being ignored by the environmental activists.
That there are climatic convulsions is indisputable. What is also indisputable is that the Climate Change – Global Warming movement has developed into a cult. As such all objectivity and rational has vanished. A cult cannot exist without a leader; Greta Thunberg is that leader. Irrespective of what she says; her followers believe what she says; this is a cult, the first World-wide cult.
As this is being written, there is a massive high pressure system that has developed over the entire Pacific North West. Temperatures are to soar; this is another instance where a non-human activity raises the atmospheric, oceanic and terrestrial temperatures.
Like Cortez, Thunberg does not mention how much has been accomplished environmental-wise since 1970 when the United States implemented the Environmental Protection Agency.
Greta, with her father, ventured to Rome where she had a brief audience with Pope Francis who approved of her environmental activity. It appears that the Pope has joined her bandwagon; he recently made the public announcement that the World should discontinue fossil fuels to counter Climate Change – Global warming. (This is good news for wind/solar powered vessel and vehicle makers and enthusiasts. Good luck with long distant travel.)
Since Thunberg has met and received the approval of the Pope, the spiritual leader of over one billion people, what is the spiritual condition of Sweden? What is the spiritual condition of Greta and her family support team? – In a spiritual sense, Sweden, like much of Europe, is neutral. The World Almanac claims that 63 per cent of Swedes are Lutheran, 17 per cent, other. Ask any Swede, they will tell you that Judeo/Christianity has little affect upon their fellow countrymen and women. – Many Scandinavians, as World-wide, the Millennials, the, “X,” and,” Y,” generation claim that they are now in the post Judeo-Christian era. The Millennials and the, “X,” and, “Y,” generation look at religion – from a scientific view – as a relic of the past, a refined superstition that have produced fairy tales. With this mindset established, cults arise and replace the vacuum.
In her presentations, Greta mentions that we are in the Sixth Mass Extinction, and, and that 200 species Per Diem go extinct. She does not clarity that statement.
Statisticians note that for a population, for a culture to survive, the rock bottom minimum birthrate has to be 1.5 per cent. Sweden’s birthrate, as all of Europe, is a dismal 0.8 per cent. A few years earlier, Sweden’s birthrate was, like much of northern and eastern Europe; -0.1 per cent.
There Once Was A Girl From Sweden:

Teaching kids about environmental stewardship is a good objective, but filling their brains with climate sensationalism and predictions about the end of the world can have a traumatic and lasting effect on their thinking and their life.
